Speech Therapy in Bella Vista
Plenty of Bella Vista families are still finding their feet — new streets, a new school zone, and a fresh list of specialists to work out from scratch. If a first speech assessment is one of the things on that list, we can make it the easy one.
Our Northmead clinic is about 6.8km away, roughly a 14 to 17 minute drive from around Norwest Business Park and Bella Vista Farm Park. Our speech pathologists see children from birth to 16, for everything from late talking and unclear speech through to developmental language disorder, social communication and AAC.
You don’t need to have lived here for years to know where to start — just get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
Settling into a new suburb comes with enough admin without a confusing referral process on top. We don’t require one. A single phone call is enough to start, and we’ll explain exactly what happens next before you commit to anything.
From that first conversation, we build a plan around what you already know about your child — no need to retell your whole history to five different services first.
We see children from birth through to 16 years, across the full range of communication and feeding needs:

We see children from infancy through to 16 years. If you have concerns about a baby or toddler, we encourage you to contact us early — early intervention makes a real difference to outcomes.
About 6.8km. Allow 14 to 17 minutes by car via Windsor Road, a little longer during school pick-up. Parking at the clinic is free.
Every child develops at their own pace, but if you’re noticing delays in speech, difficulty understanding or using words, or challenges with social interaction, it might be time to seek support. At The Bridge Effect, we offer gentle, no-pressure assessments to help you understand your child’s communication needs. You’re not alone — we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Our sessions are play-based, engaging, and tailored to your child’s interests and goals. We use fun, evidence-based activities to build communication skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Parents are always welcome to be involved — we believe therapy works best when it’s a team effort.

Yes. We support a growing number of families from Bella Vista and the surrounding Norwest area. Tell us your child’s age and what you’ve noticed, and we will book an initial consultation and talk you through what the first session looks like. Call us at 9037 1163 or visit us at 7/185 Briens Rd, Northmead NSW. We’ll listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and help you book an initial consultation. Early support can make a big difference—and we’re here to walk this journey with you.
No referral is needed. You can book an assessment with us directly. If your child already has a referral, a paediatrician’s letter or an older report, bring it along, because it saves us covering ground someone has already covered.
Yes. We support NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants. We are not currently a registered NDIS provider, so we are unable to work with NDIA or agency-managed plans directly. If your child’s plan includes funding for speech therapy under Capacity Building, we can work within it.
