Speech Therapy in Castle Hill
There is no shortage of therapy options in the Hills. What Castle Hill families usually tell us they were looking for is somewhere that does not feel like a production line, where the same speech pathologist sees their child each week and actually remembers what happened last session.
We are in Northmead, about 5.6km down Windsor Road from Castle Hill, or roughly fifteen to twenty minutes by car. Children from birth to 16, in a purpose-built clinic with free parking at the door.
If you are weighing up a few clinics, call and ask us anything. We would rather you chose well than chose quickly.
Consistency first. Your child is matched with one speech pathologist and stays with them, so nobody has to start from scratch each term. You will always know what we are working on, why we chose it, and how we will know it is working.
We also try to be straight with you about time. If your child needs a block of therapy and then a break, we will say so. If we think a concern will resolve without us, we will say that too, and tell you exactly what to watch for.
We assess and treat children from birth to 16 across communication and feeding, including:

Every child develops at their own pace, but if you’re noticing delays in speech, difficulty understanding or using words, or challenges with social interaction, it might be time to seek support. At The Bridge Effect, we offer gentle, no-pressure assessments to help you understand your child’s communication needs. You’re not alone — we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Our sessions are play-based, engaging, and tailored to your child’s interests and goals. We use fun, evidence-based activities to build communication skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Parents are always welcome to be involved — we believe therapy works best when it’s a team effort.

No. You can book an assessment directly with us, no referral needed. If your child has already seen a paediatrician or been assessed elsewhere in the Hills, bring those reports along so we are not repeating work.
Yes. We support NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants. We are not currently a registered NDIS provider, so we are unable to work with NDIA or agency-managed plans directly. If your child’s plan includes funding for speech therapy under Capacity Building, we can work within it.
