Not at all — and please keep speaking it. Growing up with two or more languages does not cause speech delay, and dropping a home language usually costs a child more than it gains. We assess and plan around every language your child hears and uses.

No — you can call us yourself and book straight in. Some families arrive with a paediatrician’s letter, a preschool’s observation notes or a hearing test result; all of that is helpful, none of it is required.
If it is self-managed or plan-managed, yes. The Bridge Effect supports NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants. We are not currently a registered NDIS provider, which means NDIA/agency-managed plans cannot be used with us directly. If your child’s plan includes Capacity Building funding for speech therapy and you manage it yourself or through a plan manager, we can work within it.
